The first purpose of this base layer is to move moisture away from your skin, adding minimal insulation for those cold days when your riding intensity is high enough and your outer layers are warm enough.

The bibtight-covered areas around the waist and in the back can get warm, so we use a lightweight primaloft® fabric to help balance the temperature.

This base layer works best when in contact with the skin, so both fabrics are very elastic and the cut is fine.

On extremely cold days we will use this as a first coat under a second coat of warm flanders or under a thermal jacket. It is very effective in keeping sweat away.
