We made it short to meet castelli's high standards of comfort and performance on a short ride, adding some extra features that are useful for riding on any surface. You'll find our exceptional normal fit, as well as the Progetto X2 Air Seamless Donna Seat, which provides generous anatomically placed upholstery with an exceptionally soft top layer.

What makes this little one special is the extremely durable Lycra Unlimited® fabric. It has greater resistance to abrasion and breakage, without compromising stretching, moisture management or comfort.

Also, we used double-layer side panels for the old fabric slip-over-fabric track rider trick in case you fall. This short isn't really intended to be indestructible, but it significantly increases the chances that slipping out on gravel will mean you need to just brush yourself off instead of having to buy a new pair of shorts.

This second layer on the side panel also makes the side pockets convenient, with a flap over the top to prevent contents from falling out.

For added convenience while walking on and off the road, you have two mesh pockets in the lower back that compress the gear to the side of your body to prevent it from bouncing around.
